SPECIALISTS /PROVIDERS

Henry Kaggwa, APRN, PMHNP-BC. Clinical Director

Through providing psychological care to my clients with empathy, and authenticity, I’m creating happiness in them and others by improving their mental and behavioral health. I’m a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (APRN, PMHNP-BC) with a master’s degree in science (MSN) specializing in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practice across the lifespan. I provide meaningful mental health services to clients by helping them understand their life experiences. I believe the cornerstone of the client’s psychological Health, whether positive or negative, significantly contributes to the individual’s health and environment. The thoughts one harbor in their mind determine one’s active or passive reactions and behaviors in their present life experiences. Subsequently, the client’s past life experiences, either positive or negative, could impair or promote negative or positive expressions of their mental health development and hence determine and define the word of their behaviors toward themselves, their family, their community, and society in the present moment. One’s Pediatric age and its itemized stages of one’s growth are the most critical phases where affirmations of positive or negative consequences by the giver/receiver of the communications consecrate such ideas in the mind that lead to one’s manifestation behavior in the present or one’s future presentation of self. Henceforth, the positive or negative psychological Health of the client, the family, the community, and the society at large is dependable on the concepts they have formulated through—individualized experiences of life. As healthcare providers, regardless of status, our individualized psychological growth, positive or negative, whether in the presence of a client or from a far distance, is vital in healthcare delivery. Through practicing mental health care, I have not noted that an authentic clinical experience with the client contributes to manifestations of the client’s belief in the treatment suggested by the provider, ensuring the suggestion and implementation of precise therapies. This leads to client-centered care with reasonable but self-directed psychological health goals. Subsequently, systems (central government, state, city, towns, insurance, households, providers, clients, etc.) must be vested with tools that provide and promote clients’ psychological health wellness. But since providers in the health care system experience a relative social environment, promoting well psychological health benefits them and eventually their clients and the whole system of health and healthcare. I will listen to your life experiences and work with you to conquer your psychiatric and mental challenges by listening, caring, and helping you overcome the downtimes to stand up again and maintain good mental and psychological Health incorporating medications and psychotherapy.
