Kayla Riley is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving patients of all ages and backgrounds. She was adopted from China and grew up on the island of Maui, Hawaii, enriching her with the spirit of aloha to form personal connections with those from all different walks of life. She attained her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health at Otterbein University in Columbus, Ohio. Kayla worked at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in the eye clinic after graduating from Otterbein. Lead by the desire to help others, she pursued her second Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Nursing at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed her fellowships at Assured Hope Community Health and McLean Hospital. McLean Hospital is the #1 psychiatric hospital in the nation. Both enabled her to provide cutting-edge, compassionate treatment for those with mental health conditions. Kayla possesses strong clinical skills integrating evidence-based care, trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, and utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach. She is a genuine, warm, and enthusiastic provider. She is a good listener and will provide a safe space to listen to your hardships without judgment. Additionally, she has clinical experience working as a psychiatric nurse at McLean Hospital and with children at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Utilizing psychopharmacology and psychotherapy that fits your unique needs will empower you to tackle challenges head-on and move forward in life more confidently. Kayla is devoted to health equality, holistic care, health education, and aiding those to live a more meaningful life. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, playing video games, and the gym.
