George William Mugerwa is a board-certified Mental-Health and Addiction Counselor from Boston College and the University of Massachusetts Boston with over 16 years of managing patients with various psychiatric disorders utilizing holistic and Client-centered therapies. Mr. Mugerwa is a clinician who is non-judgmental, empathetic, and authentic. He is well-trained in handling crises while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team at Assured Hope Community Health and other community providers. George’s specialty includes treatment for but is not exclusive to addictions, anxiety, depression, impulsivity, adjustments, transitions, relationship issues, etc. He provides treatment in individual, couple, and family modalities, REBT, cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, family systems, and goal-oriented treatment. Mr. Mugerwa’s genuine intention is for you to realize from the moment you encounter him that you are in a safe, non-judgmental space in which you will be treated with respect in all aspects of the therapeutic relationship, from using your chosen pronouns to seeing you as a whole person beyond any label you may have been given. We will work together to identify your challenges and strengths and which therapeutic modalities work best to support your healing process.
Sandra Vilchis
Sandra Vilchis is a Clinical Mental Health clinician with a concentration in Forensic and Correctional Counseling. Sandra earned her master’s degree from William James College in Newton, MA, and is license-eligible. She is an alumna of the University of Lowell (UML) Massachusetts where she holds a bachelor’s degree, has a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice with a concentration in violence, and has been academically recognized in the honors dean’s list. She has 12 years of experience working in the mental health field. She is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish. She has worked with children, adults, and families in various settings including schools, homes, offices, community spaces, courts, recovery programs, and in a prison. She has vast knowledge in assessing and treating co-occurring disorders. She is a respected member of the community and while managing clients’ care she has collaborated and consulted with other professionals to improve client care. She has focused on providing individual counseling, group therapy, crisis check-ins, in-home therapy services, intensive care coordination services, family stabilization, and being an on-call clinician for the Intensive Home Based Therapeutic Care program (IHBTC). She is culturally diverse in working with clients. She has received training in Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC), Courageous Conversations, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Substance Use interventions, Risk and Safety Assessment, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT). She utilizes dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Expressive arts therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Additionally, she enriches the therapeutic process by implementing a safe space, a nonjudgmental stance, creating an authentic connection, and providing unconditional positive regard. She is known for being an empathic and compassionate listener and focuses on therapeutic alliance. It is essential for one to feel comfortable with the therapist one is working with and finding the right therapist can help with achieving goals, staying motivated, and accountable, becoming aware of personal strengths, and feeling supported!

Olivia Flores-Bourgeois is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner specializing in the care of children and adolescents. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health across the life span from MCPHS University in Boston, where she had previously obtained her BSN and graduated magna cum laude.
